Wouldn’t it be wonderful if you could live the life you want? You’d have the job you want and the financial security you want. You’d be doing the things you want to do AND be at your ideal weight. Did we miss anything? Oh yes, you’d also have the relationship you want!
Do you feel that your thoughts and emotions may be holding you back from living the life you truly want and absolutely deserve?
The good news is that you are not alone, part of being human is to experience some struggle in your life and to experience emotional pain.
Why come to counselling?
When you feel like something isn’t right, and you know you can’t solve it by yourself; you have been caught up in the struggle.
The aim of counselling therapy is to assist people to become confident and independent, and to live fulfilling, meaningful lives.
What happens at counselling?
At the first session, you will outline your issues and gain a sense of what can be achieved. I will be straight forward and honest in answering any questions you have about the process, and what you can expect from our counselling relationship. Counselling can be challenging, even confronting, so it is important that you feel that you can speak openly, free from judgement in a safe and confidential environment. An important goal of this first session is for you to decide whether you feel comfortable with me as your counsellor.
